Reigning European and Spanish League champions Real Madrid have reportedly told Manchester United goalie David De Gea not to sign a new deal at Old Trafford.

Manchester United are aware that many clubs are looking for the signature of David De Dea, and the club have recently offered the Spaniard a new deal worth £14m per year to extend his stay at Old Trafford.

David De Gea currently earns around £200,000-a-week at Manchester United with a massive salary of £10.4m per year.

According to the report by El Chiringuito TV, Real chiefs have told De Gea to hold off signing a new deal with United until the summer.

Los Blancos want the 27-year-old Spanish international to replace Keylor Navas next season at the Bernabeu.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo told Real Madrid chiefs to bring Manchester United goalie David De Gea to the camp Nou next season.

The Spanish goalkeeper has for years being a target for Los Blancos, and Ronaldo believes Real Madrid can sign the Spaniard at the end of the season.

According to the report by Don Balon, Ronaldo mentioned the name of David De Gea in a meeting with the club's chiefs as a player he wants to play with next season at the Bernabeu.
