- City are now eleven point clear on the Premier League log
Manchester City gaffer, Pep Guardiola, has declared his team the 'best' ever in the Premier League history after breaking the League's unbeaten run.
The Etihad giants racked up their 15th consecutive league at Swansea to set a new record for consecutive top-flight wins.
Guardiola now has the longest winning league runs in England, Germany and Spain after leading Bayern Munich to a 19-game streak and Barcelona to 16 straight victories.
Reacting to the amazing feat, he said: “In history there were amazing teams like Liverpool in the 1980s and United with Sir Alex Ferguson or Chelsea with Jose Mourinho - some amazing teams.
“But we are the first ones in the history of English football to win 15 in a row. It means we are strong in the head. If we win the title it will just be a record and this record will be broken but of course it will not be easy.
"The record means a lot in the faith and desire to win again, and again and again.
