Former Super Eagles' skipper Austin Okocha was in London yesterday, Monday 23, 2017 for the second edition of The Best FIFA football awards.

Okocha was part of the 17 man panel that decided the 36 man list of 24 players and 12 men’s coaches that were in contention for awards at the Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony last night in London.

The former Bolton man was seen taking a picture with five times FIFA best player and last night's runner up Lionel Messi.

Messi lost last night's award to Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, The Real Madrid man capped off an impressive 2017 with the ultimate individual award in men's football.

Last night's award saw Ronaldo go level with Messi on the numbers of FIFA best player awards, they are now leveled on five a-piece.

Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane beat Juventus' Max Allegri and Chelsea's Antonio Conte to the coach of the year award.
