Real Madrid and Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the 2017 FIFA footballer of the year in The Best awards ceremony held in London, England.
The 32-year-old beat fellow finalist Lionel Messi of Barcelona and Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain.
He adds the award to his Ballon d'Or award and best European sportsperson of 2017 accolade.
Ronaldo won the Champions League, Club World Cup and European Super Cup with Real Madrid and the European Championships with Portugal.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane also won The Best FIFA's men coach of the year for the first time in his career in the same gala night.
Barcelona midfielder Lieke Martens won the FIFA The Best female Player.
