For the first time ever, FIFA will be honouring the best goalkeeper in world football in the second edition of The Best series.

Eight awards will be handed out and have listed the nominees for each award.

Today, Monday, October 23. The ceremony proper is expected to start at 7pm (Nigerian time)

Who is hosting?

Actor Idris Elba will host The Best with additional presenter Layla Anna-Lee. British rock giants Kasabian to perform, as well as Stomp

The Best FIFA Men’s Player - Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid and Portugal), Lionel Messi (Barcelona and Argentina), Neymar (PSG and Brazil)
