- Englishman Harry Kane could be on his way to Manchester United in January 2018
- United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly told the Red Devils to buy the striker
- But it is not yet clear if Tottenham would want to lose their best player next year
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly told the club to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane when the next transfer window opens.
The Portuguese tactician is reported to be ready to tempt Spurs' chiefs with whopping sum of £170 million for United to lure the Englishman to Old Trafford.
Last two season, Manchester United also tried to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham with the Red Devils ready to add Javier Hernandez plus cash for them to get the striker.
But Spurs' chiefs turned the offer down, and Mourinho now wants Manchester United to go again for the 24-year-old this time around in a world record fee.
Harry Kane has been in sparkling form this season for Tottenham in the Premier League and also in the Champions League, but it is not yet clear if Spurs would be willing to let him go in January.
Manchester United are now expected to face serious competition for the signing of Harry Kane as NAIJ.com had earlier reported of how Spanish club Real Madrid are also planning to sign him.
