Two goals from Alexandre Lacazette was all Arsenal needed to secure a 2 - 0 win over Tony Pulis West Brom at the Emirates on Monday night September 25.
With an eye on the Europa League clash on Thursday, September 28, Arsene Wenger decided not to risk Mesut Ozil who started on the bench.
West Brom should have taken the lead when Jay Rodriguez found his way past Mustafi in the box and fired a low shot which was tipped to the post by Petr Cech. The rebound by Jake Livermore was sent wide.

Rodriguez could have won a penalty when he dribbled Mustafi as the German took him down but the referee was not convinced.
Lacazette scored the opener when he headed in a rebound after Alexis Sanchez freekick was punched unto his path by Ben Foster.
The Baggies almost got the equalizer through Rodriguez whose effort was cleared off the line by Nacho Monreal just before the half-time break.
The Gunner started the second half in better fashion and their dominance told when Lacazette doubled the lead with his second of the night in the 67th minute.
The referee believed Nyom brough down Aaron Ramsey though replays showed the midfielder lost a physical battle. Lacazette stepped up to take the penalty and scored.
The penalty was also the Gunner's 100th converted spot-kick in the Premier League.
Ramsey should have added a third in the 90th minute but goalkeeper Ben Foster blocked his shot after a swift counter-attack led by suvstitutes. Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud.
That was how the game ended as Arsenal moved to seventh on the log with ten points after six games.
