Championship side Birmingham City’s search for a dynamic midfielder to sit alongside Senegalese midfielder Cheikh Ndoye in their new-look Birmingham City team is set to come to an end as all look set for the signing of Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Onazi.
According to reports from Turkish website sabah.com.tr, a deal around €4.5million has been agreed on by both Birmingham and Trabzonspor.
Former KickOff and SuperSport presenter Colin Udoh in a tweet confirmed the authenticity of the deal.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder joined current club Trabzonspor from Lazio last year and scored twice in 27 Turkish Super Lig matches last season.

Onazi, 24, has 38 caps for the Super Eagles and was part of their Africa Cup of Nations squad in January. Onazi helped Nigeria to win African football’s cups of nation in 2013.
