- Romelu Lukaku played 45 minutes in Manchester United's win over LA Galaxy
- Marcus Rashford, Fellaini, Martial and Mhitayan all scored for the Red Devils
- Jose Mourinho even tried playing a back three at differnt moments in the match
Romelu Lukaku got outshined on his Manchester United debut by Marcus Rashford who scored twice for the Red Devils as they cruised to a 5-2 friendly win over LA Galaxy on Saturday.
Lukaku joined United for a reported £75million from Everton earlier this month, and is expected to fill the void left by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Belgian played the second half at StubHub Center in California.
The 23-years-old had a rather quiet 45 minutes in the game though he missed a great chance shortly after being brought on.
Defender Victor Lindelof also made his debut, but it was already 3-0 when the duo were introduced, with Marcus Rashford having stolen the show in the first half with two goals.
Rashford scored a brace and should have had a third to go with Marouane Fellaini's first-half goal.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial scored in the second half as former Barcelona attacker Giovanni Dos Santos struck twice for David Becham's former team.
Jose Mourinho also introduced a back three in what was the Europa League champions' first pre-season friendly.
