Premier League champions Chelsea have completed the signing of French wonder-kid goalkeeper Nicolas Tie three years after the Blues had agreed a deal.
NAIJ.com understands that the Blues agreed a deal to sign the youngster in 2014 when he was 13, but he could not sign a professional contract not until when he turned 16.
Tie officially joined Chelsea on Monday, July 3, 2017 after returning to the club’s Cobham training base where he has traveled every summer for the past three years.
The former Poitiers shot-stopper shared photographs on his Twitter and Facebook profiles where can be seen proudly showing off his new kit and signing on the dotted line with his new club.
It was also learnt that Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester City were also interested in the signature of Tie, but chose to become a Blues' player.
