Erstwhile England defender Ugo Ehiogu has died in hospital in England after suffering a heart attack at Premier League club Tottenham's training ground on April 20, 2017.
NAIJ.com had earlier reported that the 44-year-old who is of Nigerian descent was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed during a training session before he passed on.
Ehiogu enjoyed a playing career at the highest level having represented Aston Villa and Middlesbrough over 350 times. He also earned four caps for England.
Before he died, Ugo Ehiogu tweeted about charity and after news of his death broke, the tweet went viral with many commenting on how good a person he was.
