- Antonio Conte has stated that his wards did not play a good game against Man Utd
- Chelsea lost 0-2 to Jose Mourinho's led side in a Premier League match on Sunday, April 16
- The Blues' defeat has reduced their lead on the standings to four points
Chelsea gaffer Antonio Conte has admitted that he is to be blamed for his side's lackluster performance that saw them losing 0-2 to their bitter rivals Manchester United on Sunday, April 16, 2017 in a Premier League duel.
Having led the Premier League standings with 10 points in March 2017, Chelsea are now four points ahead of second placed Tottenham with six games to end the season.
The title race has now been blown open after Chelsea's defeat at Old Trafford, and Conte has taken responsibility for failing to motivate his side to a win at Manchester United.
"We didn't play a good game and Manchester United deserved to win the encounter.
"They showed more desire, more ambition, more motivation. In this case the fault is of the coach." the Italian explained.
