A controversial match in the Chinese second division saw a team field 12 players due to poor officiating.
The tie was between Beijing Renhe and Baoding Rongda with the latter team already leading 1-0 and were defending a corner in the 89th minute of the game.
Rao Weihui, the Beijing Renhe midfielder did not realize he was substituted after receiving medical treatment and went back to the field of play to rejoin his teammates. He was replaced by Han Xuan.
The officials failed to spot the player who got back to the field of play after being substituted and the away fans had to intervene before the referee realized the error.
The away fans were chanting "12 men, they had 12 men!" but referee Zhen Wei was unable to understand this message but later spotted the blunder.
The game resumed 40 seconds after the error was spotted and Rao Weihui was finally taken out but the away fans were already grieved with anger by the poor officiating.
The Chinese FA and referee Zhen Wei have not reacted after news of the error was known but reports suggest the referee is close to losing his job.
