Manchester United played a 1 - 1 draw with Everton in their match day 30 clash of the Premier League on Tuesday night, April 4.
The Red Devils were close to their first league defeat since their 4-0 thumping by Chelsea in October 2016 until Zlatan Ibrahimovic intervened.
Everton took the lead in the 22nd minute when Phil Jagielka put them ahead, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored from the spot five minutes into stoppage-time to cancel out Everton’s goal.
United came close to equalize earlier in the 72nd minute, but Ibrahimovic goal was ruled out for offside.
With the return of the Swede, Herrera and Pogba in the squad, United was expecting a better result.
Ashely Williams was shown a straight red card in the 94th minute which lead to the penalty.
The Welsh international stuck his hands to deny Luke Shaw’s shot on target leaving the referee with no choice but to give United a penalty.
Manchester United have now gone 20 straight games in the league without a loss. The Old Trafford side are yet to lose a league game since their last defeat against Chelsea in October.
The Reds are currently 5th on the log and could possibly move back to 6th if Arsenal can record a win against West Ham on Wednesday, April 5.
