Chelsea are on the verge of signing Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco ahead of rivals Manchester United, The UK sun reports.
According to the report, the Blues have reportedly reached a £35m agreement deal with Monaco for the defensive midfielder.
It was gathered that the 22-year-old has already accepted a lucrative five-year deal at Stamford Bridge and will complete his move when the transfer window opens in the summer.
Bakayoko is expected to partner with N’Golo Kante in the middle of the park should he ink a deal with Chelsea in the summer.
NAIJ.com recalls that Bakayoko has made 26 league appearances for Monaco this season.
But his rise in Ligue 1, has somewhat been outshined by the emergence of club and country team mate Kylian Mbappe.
