Arsenal superstar Alexis Sanchez has explained how he used to play football in jail as a goalkeeper when he was young in his home country of Chile.
Sanchez is one of the rich and famous footballers in the world that has a rough background considering how he used to play the round leather game on the street of Tocopilla in Northern Chile.
The former Barcelona star admitted his older friends dragged him to the local jail to play and then stuck him in between the sticks.
''I played in the street, but we also used to go to the local jail to play. We played with the people there on a dirt pitch, and I played in goal.
“I wanted to be a professional footballer from when I was small. My mental approach was always to win and to go as far as possible playing football.” he said
And now that he has grown up to be a better football star, Sanchez is currently being targeted by Premier League leaders Chelsea.
NAIJ.com understands that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants the 28-year-old to be part of his squad next season.
