Peter Crouch's wife revealed her husband would rather watch Next Top Model than football.

Speaking to breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw, Abbey Clancy revealed that she influenced the former Stoke and former England striker hubby Peter to watch the TV show than the Champions League final.

But when asked about how they watch Next Top Model together, Clancy dropped her partner in it.

She said: “Pete love it, he missed the Champions League final last year to watch Top Model.

“I was like ‘Pete, you’ve got to watch the final because you’ve watched the whole series.”

Crouch, 36, came off the bench for Liverpool against AC Milan in 2007 with the Reds losing 2 - 1 to Carlo Ancelotti's side.

In hilarious fashion the Stoke City man replied to Radio 1’s tweet about the interview with just the words: “TMI (too much information) Abigiail.”

Clancy, 31, made her own name in the Next Top Model show, getting her breakthrough as she finished runner up to Lianna Fowlerin 2006.

Some 11 years later, she is a mother of two for Peter Crouch who has long retired from international duty.
