- Chelsea coach Antonio Conte wants Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly at Stamford bridge next season
- The Blues will make a mega £50 million offer to Italian club Napoli for any chance of securing a deal
- Current captain John Terry could hang his boots at the end of the season
Premier League leaders Chelsea are reportedly considering a mega £50 million move for Senegalese and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly as a replacement for John Terry who could hang his boots at the end of the season.
According to the report, Chelsea wanted to lure the player to Stamford bridge in January 2017, but opted out due to Koulibaly's commitment to represent Senegal at the 2017 African Cup of Nations Championship held in Gabon.
It was stated that Napoli won't sell the 25-year-old until June 2017 and Chelsea are now ready to table an impressive offer to the Italian club.
The Senegalese star has been an ever-present for club and country this term, and has already made 30 appearances in all competition.
Napoli currently sit third in the Serie A standings and are just two points behind second-placed Roma - with Juventus streets ahead at the top of the table, seven points clear.
