Governor of the state of Osun Rauf Aregbesola has advised embattled Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to quit his position with the Gunners at the end of the ongoing Premier League season.
Wenger has been badly criticized recently due to his wards' lackluster performances this term in the Premier League and in the UEFA Champions League.
On Saturday, March 4, 2017 Arsenal suffered another defeat in the Premier League when they were defeated 3-1 by Liverpool at Anfield.
Many Arsenal fans have expressed their grievances after the Gunners' defeat at Liverpool, and Governor Rauf Aregbesola has also voiced out his thoughts on Arsene Wenger whose contract will expire at the end of the current League season.
''Thank you for the memories Arsene Wenger,'' Governor Rauf Aregbesola Tweeted according to the Vanguard.
While responding to his message, a member of the House of Representatives Ayo Omidiran said:''My Oga, Wenger is going no where and Arsenal for life,''.
Governor Raul Aregbesola then replied by saying:''my sixth sense says you are wrong,''.
Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger has not decided on his future at Arsenal, but the believe of many football lovers is that the Frenchman will quit at the end of the season.
