Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has explained that petite striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to stay at the club at the end of the current season despite heavy speculation that the player is considering leaving Old traford.
Since joining United in the summer, Ibrahimovic has been in superb form for the Red Devils and the Swede also exemplified his ability on Sunday, February, 26, 2017 as he helped his club win the EFL Cup.
This season, the Swede has scored 26 goals in 38 games, and there have been many talks that only if Manchester United should qualify for the UEFA Champions League will make him stay at Old trafford next term.
"I never beg a player to play for me, but we all want and believe he will stay one more season because Zlatan is a great player.
"I never beg for a player to sign a contract. But if needed, the fans can go to the door of his house and stay there all night." Mourinho explained
